    Whilst with us the car received a complementary valet and paint protection. We carried out full pre and post Porsche level diagnostics, with live test work on valves etc on the system to make sure they were performing exactly as factory, along with safe, customer approved road test. This made sure no issues would occur on the long journey home.

Had a full windows out respray on my car done, i got the car back and noticed alot of rippling or orange peel of the paint all over the car,
i took my car back to them 3 or 4 times and they eventually sorted the bonnet i was very happy with that panel, though they left the rest of the car with a poor rippling finish and informed me thats the best they could do and they would not put it right, i was left really disappointed after being told they would not go further, after going to 6 other car Spraypainter’s they can all see the rippling/poor finish that protek could not see, would not recommend going to protek.

The “Independent” paint reperesentative was not independent as you knew each other, i believe he was your paint supplier? so therefore not independent,

I had a problem with most of the panel’s of the car apart from the bumpers, the roof and bootlid which were all fine, the bonnet was a rippled mess, you agreed it was poor and sanded and polished it,

Therefore when you say it cannot be changed post paint thats clearly false as the finish on the rippled bonnet was fine after a sand and polish,

So then the doors, rear quarters and wings had the same poor rippling finish as the bonnet before the sand and polish, you then refused to do the same to the rest of the rippled panels leaving a poor inconsistent finish, so i was left with a good finish on the bonnet, roof and tailgate and poor rippled doors quarters and wings,

I was never in agreement that the finish was akin to a factory finish of that era, i would be very disappointed if that was the finish of a car from factory, or as Kevin called it an “orange peel finish” which i was shocked and saddened by, be assured if Kevin would have said “orange peel finish” at our initial discussion protek would not have had my business,

As i said 6 professional vehicle spraypainters can all see the poor rippled inconsistent finish but protek could not,

Even when i took the car to the person who recommended protek to do the respray, he looked at the job they had done and apologised to me for recommending them and agreed with me it was poor, inconsistent and rippled,

We went to my friends new car as an example of a factory finish, which was consistent and good, i seen no “multiple examples” of any of protek’s work

After going 150 mile round trip to protek with the car multiple times to get problems sorted i eventually gave up after they refused to sand polish the rippled panels for a consistent finish, this was all after paying the bill in full 5 months earlier after the initial collection of the car a week before Christmas, i had the feeling they weren’t too interested after they had the money.
